What are different needs of students?
Isolation, due to isolation there can be a lack of support systems and acceptance. Usually the only form of support can be through social media and the internet, which can be very one-sided and stereotypical.  

What can teachers do to fulfil these needs?
Introduce concept into classroom to normalise being transgender - introduce to terms and talk about the spectrum so students in the school can understand what other students might be going through
Introduce gay-straight alliances into school
