bat mitzvah is for girls . This is celebrated in Israel. girls and boys do this both. In the Brazilian Amazon. Boys when they turn 13. They search the jungle for bullet ants. The ants are put into gloves with stingers pointing inwards. Each boy has to wear the glove for 10 minutes. Each boy will wear it 20 times over the span of several months then the initiation is complete.
