I think government should increase taxation on imported good so that more money can be made for theeconomy. Also government can increase government spending and reduce taxation in businesses and households.Government can create jobs for people in a way that invest more on EPWP so that people can wok and pay tax and be able to increase demand of goods.Governmnt should make sure the economy has a good image so that foreign investors can be interested.

Government may make different choices when prioritising between preservation of existing business and net creation. Firstly the government can increase investments, provide direct capital injections through investment, loans and grants. Increasing activity through public - private partnership structures. Attracting incoming foreign direct investment (FDI) and stemming the loss of outgoing FDI.

I think government can use the fiscal policy. Fiscal policy means that the taxation will be increased and there will a decrease in government spending , it can also be used to influence both expansion and contraction of GDP as a measure of the economic growth. Government can also use the progressive taxation this occurs where high income earners pay more tax than others.

Those people who lost their jobs during the pandemic must be placed back to their possessions.

Yes the government should invest even more on growing business and mostly local workplace, so that the money the government spends on the nation regains it through texation. That can only happen if the government opens more job opportunities across this country.

The reason for me to agree is that as south Africans we are the one who are being affected if the Economy is not doing any growth, by government creating more stable jobs will lead to more tax being paid and that is one of the many in ways which the country can maintain its growth.

What an important conversation to have. The reality is our country's economy is in shambles after covid and our government in trillions of dollars in debt. We atleas need to have such discussion, because it's affecting every single person, from the business owner to the employee.. You've made some good suggestions on possible solutions to the issue, hopefully our government is able to come through for us 🙏🏾

The state should decrease the amount of salaries of those in power. The people of South Africa should be made aware of how the country's money is actually spent as there is always money that goes missing eg. the 500 billion that we are not aware of the things that the money was spent on.. The government should also create more job opportunities for the youth in order in have a increase in the economy as the unemployment rate is currently at 35.3%.

I agree with you that our government should be able to explain to us citizens of South Africans where is the money being invested mostly and not steal money for their own benefits. Their have been many cases of corruption in our country for the past decade and it mostly come from the leaderers of our country who earn a lot of salaries. Government cutting their salaries should've been something done when we saw as a country that this crisis of corruption is increasing jn our country. The people suffering for all these bad decisions taken by our leaders are the citizens who work and live in this country. The people should have their say of what the government could do in developing our communities and standard of living. Investing in South African business would help our economy and giving more South Africans citizens the opportunity to create their own business with out majors costs and paperworks.
