The place I visited was a big park near Flagstaff Station in Melbourne city. It is big park. We can see whole city from here. I saw large buildings from there. Across it Victoria Market is situated. There are a lot of swings for children. There is a community center too for everyone. It is spacious. Language is the bridge between worlds and the way we listen. While my visit I noticed that sound, drama and movement is everywhere. We can listen via eyes, ears, hands, nose and mouth. I listened chirping of birds, sound of breeze. Moreover, the trees were dancing with breeze. Dry leaves were making sound and movement. The fragrance of fresh air and wet soil was so soothing. Nature is full of drama, music and movement. I experienced so much relaxation and stress free while in the lap of nature. Colorful flowers attract me towards them. But I realized that some plants were grown in the side of sun. I saw some kids running and I started running with them. I found it very informative that kids can learn numeracy while they play. Some kids were playing with the sticks whereas some birds were picking them to make their nest.

Alice was a poor girl who lived in a village with her mother. Her mother used to collect wood from the forest for burning cooking and other household purposes. One day she said to Alice, “My daughter, I'm not feeling well today. So will you go to the forest and bring some wood.?” Alice saw her mother's poor health and she agreed. When she went to the forest a cool breeze was blowing on her face. She looked at tall trees and their leaves were swaying in the wind. She found the music in the sound of birds and insects. She saw different flowers and exclaimed with joy,” They are so colorful.” She was mesmerized by their nice and sweet fragrance. She ran, danced and played there. She happily collected the sticks alongwith dry leaves and went back to home. Her mother cooked food for her. She ate and fell asleep after a long but wonderful day.

In Australia, Arts learning areas consist of dance, drama, media arts, music, and visual arts (ACARA, 2011). Whilst my visit to the place I noticed that everything has a language. The environment also speaks, and its language is heard and understood by everyone who is willing to understand. I understood that noise of wind is music. Swaying of leaves is movement. I found the interconnection between environment and drama as environment itself is a character in that and changing of weather is a drama. Some new leaves are growing, and some were falling down is a drama itself.

As soon as i entered the place I saw big trees which according to me must be centuries old. I saw colourful flowers, open sky, people running there. I smelled the wet soil, flowers, fresh air. I touched different types of flowers and get to know that every flower has different lifecycle. I heard the sound of wind, birds sound , people talking, tapping of foot and many more.

As, I was walking through it I was remembering my childhood. When I was a kid we were not having so many resources there but we use to play with natural loose parts like sticks. I used to make a home with leaves. We hung a swing on a tree and were playing there throughout. As a kid I always tried to imitate the sound of birds, blowing wind and tapping of horse. Before starting this unit I never realized that running with my friends in a park is actually a movement. It was astounding experience of considering myself as animal and mimic its sound and walk. As, playing in nature makes me feel connection with it. I experience that birds also communicate with each other. Plants can even communicate. Everything has a language of its own.

Young children learn through play (Niland, A. (2009)). When children play, they express their ideas dancing, dramatizing, singing, exploring sound, drawing, and making things. Children are active learners and have a very strong sense of imagination. When they are set free to play in natural habitat they learn more efficiently. According to EYLF outcome 2.4 become they become socially responsible and show respect for the environment.

According to EYLF outcome4.1 Children develop dispositions for learning such as curiosity, cooperation, confidence, creativity, commitment, enthusiasm, persistence, imagination and reflexivity. Play can be introduced in education and can be very helpful for kids. I will definitely teach my kids with the help of play. For Example,

Kids can collect dry leaves and can glue it and form the patterns they want. So they can learn patterns from there.

They can run in the direction of wind and vice versa and can learn about speed and physics of wind.

Kids can find nests of birds or squirrels playing around. They can see clouds and can write down the shapes they imagine.

They can walk barefoot on grass and wet soil and can learn the difference between texture and characteristics of both.

Listening is good exercise for patience and kids are curious to the things they heard. They can be asked to list the sounds they heard and the things they saw and can make the difference.

They can be encouraged to use hands to make shapes with it. As in the video, we have make a bird with hands and make it fly. Kids can learn that movement is everywhere. Blinking of eye is a movement, making bie is a movement and many more.

Most necessarily, music can fascinated and the connections can be made by brain and make kids think faster.
