When I saw it on my schedule, my initial reaction was, "What is African American Humor?". After reading the course description,  I learned it's about analyzing African American comedy and how it shapes their experience. I enjoy watching Black sitcoms and stand-up comedy. Some favorites are House of Payne, My Wife and Kids, The Bernie Mac Show, and many more.
