GALLERY/ EXHIBITION VISIT [2.1, 3.1] by Louie https://padlet.com/louiebond98/w8kiuj766gan ACTIVITY FOUR en-us 2016-06-08 09:50:00 UTC 2024-04-28 10:52:55 UTC hello@padlet.com TRIP TO LONDON FASHION AND TEXTILES MUSEUM  louiebond98 https://padlet.com/louiebond98/w8kiuj766gan/wish/114057600 During my first year my class went on a trip to London Fashion and Textiles Museum, to see the Liberty in Fashion exhibition.  The exhibition was celebrating 140 years of the iconic department store Liberty&Co, showcasing over 150 garments, and textiles along with objects showing Liberty’s relationships with different designers since 1875, artists from Arthur Silver as well as his work with Jean Muir, Cacharel, Yves Saint Laurent and Vivienne Westwood.

We went in December as part of our unit 3 work, however I went back to my work I did there for inspiration for my FPM. I took inspiration from all the print work the exhibition has on display, this is where I go inspiration to do all my print work in my sketchbook, which I developed on photoshop and into initial designs.
