I used to think Typography was how a font looked like, they styles, spacing, colour. Even though I knew a bit about Typography, now I know about kerning, spacing, and how different font and sizes impact the project.

Before I didn't know the term typography , but I did know the term fonts. Now I know they are basically the same thing. I learned the importance of choosing the right forms as the all can have a meaning.

What I used to think: I found typography slightly important but I didn't pay too much attention to it when I used to do any projects or presentations. I also used fonts before that may have been slightly hard to understand.

What I think now: I think typography plays an important role and is an important aspect in many things. Something I didn't realise before was how different something would look with a different font. I have realised how different something looks with a different font, size, etc.

I used to think typography didn't really impact your work a lot. I knew it would make a difference but not too much. Maybe only until a certain extent. I also learned more about the concepts regarding typography, such as spacing, kerning, color, font, hierarchy, etc. I also learned a couple or two about how to format my typography

First I thought typography was what words and fonts look like but now I know that typography is about a lot of different things like spacing, kerning, sizes, characters, etc. Now I also know how different fonts like small, big, italics, tall, short, bold etc can make a huge difference in your end product.
