Teachers can ask students to carry out a writing to learn activity telling students that the teacher is going to mark the activity after a period of time, meanwhile students using rubrics can write drafts of the final product. The teacher ask students to hand on the difference drafts and allow students to improve the writing according withe the clues given by the teacher. Only the final product is used to give students a mark.

As a teacher, I thought of one of the most beautiful experiments - continuous, calligraphic or "continuous", with equal size, neat lettering, has both practical relevance to readability and increased speed writing, as well as aesthetic importance, developing the taste for the beauty of the child. The greatest concern of teachers is that write speeds become directly proportional to the quality of writing. Handwriting is also a form of expression of emotions and feelings. By handwriting the body expresses itself.
I studied alongside the first two letters of the Abecedar: "a" and "m". I have magically united them in a divine word: "mother." My mother is beautiful, my mother is loved, my mother is special ... How else to write the word "mother" than carefully, with excitement, carefully. It was an additional reason to motivate schoolchildren to write fluently, carefully, beautifully. And they did.
I first practiced the blackboard. The writing on the board, like the asphalt drawings, has something special in it. The child "touches" the word, writes with his fingers, wipes the palm. Then I switched to cursive writing in notebooks.
For the end we prepared the surprise: a sweet muffin for the mother, with a poetry interior, seasoned with cursive little words written by little children with their hand. They were overjoyed. They gave me one of the cake, they kept for home too.
Did you know that Ion Creanga, the greatest Romanian narrator, had the idea that the students first learn the letters "a" and "m" in order to write and read the word "mother"?

Writing and learning have a great interaction, it can put in evidence concept and linguistic understanding about a topic. Language in science helps to reconceptualise what you learn and it’s a very importat tool

It can be use during the whole learning process writing a poem or a newsletters or to explain what they learned , it’s interesting to make a diaries and it’s also used as a self evaluation or an assessment to evaluate: a writing gives a teacher an important tool to understand the students’ conceptual frameworks about a topic

Writing can be a very effective way of learning. I felt that as a student, as I incorporated more easily the different subjects and trying to write down the concepts (whithout copying from the text book) I had to really understand them.
In my classroom I often ask the students to do reports or to summarize the information present on they text books.

Personally, when I have difficulty remembering a topic or when I feel I haven't fully understood it, I write down ideas and thoughts on a sheet of paper and this helps me. Taking notes during the lessons is very important for the students. Writing helps learners highlight important concepts to see and understand what is unclear Is a powerful way to help us establish a connection
between concepts that we need to and, at the same time we practice our linguistic skills

I agree completely with what Dr. Gunel proposes in his videos. Writing is a powerful and useful way to help us establish a link between concepts that we need to understand (and we are working on) and our linguistic skills, becoming a tool to reconceptualize knowledge, that is, to help us put in our own words the recently acquired knowledge. In this sense, taking notes, but also keeping a learning/research log can be very useful.

do not use writing activities in my classes. However, after watching the films, I was convinced of their usefulness, since writing activity requires the use of complex reasoning components.
I will study and design ways to introduce small text writing activities to help students understand the concepts of chemistry and physics.

writing has many important aspects as it helps students in the initial phase of an experiment to set goals, choose the most suitable tools, etc., in the final phase to draw up an effective report.
In addition to bringing students to draw up reports that can be useful in future working life.

I completely agree with the professor,
Writing is a way of communication but also of reunderstanding, memorization, reflection, connection between topics of the same or different disciplines. it is a way of expression for our rational and emotional personality . I like to write choosing different formats depending on the purpose of the activity. Finally it is a good way of assessment for specific abilities and competencies.

It's interesting to see it so classficated. Poetic forms will probably be irrelevant for science classes. So expressive forms and transaction forms are in the main focus.

Those three types of Writing to learn activities can be developed at classes, on various topics, to encourage students for critical thinking, project based learning. Creativity is the main goal.

Tompkins (2000), seven reasons why children should write
suggested;
1- For fun,
2- To feed his artistic expressions,
3- To explain the importance and functions of writing,
4- To encourage imagination,
5- To explain their thoughts,
6- To conduct research to identify yourself,
7- To learn to read and write.
Writing is to make all the mentally visible elements visible for the action. More planned is to create a clearer road map.

When someone writes the skills come together and get into practice. After a listening or an exploratory reading, and after understanding of the sources, the written text have to be a well-integrated reflection of the information selected from the sources.

I think writing notes during lesson is very important for the student. Writing helps to fix concepts often to clarify confused ideas or to realize what was not understood.

Writing to learn the activities in the science classroom: write what we see (under a microscope), plot out parts of the body, plants, processes, ...,work on genetics, write phases in work, hypothesize, write all about it.
What are the benefits for students? This can all be useful for exercise and understanding of what is learned.

I encourage students to write down the content of their projects.

I think writing is very important for the student.
Presence of time and activity and writing reminders about the topic, content. Key terms are related to memory and active engagement. Monitoring of work and grading of students is a very complex problem related to teaching. The teaching process aims to express the creativity of teachers and students.

I think writing serves to settle concepts and ideas.
I think that to write, we need to coordinate areas of the brain dedicated to remembering the concept, to understand it, and to express it following the linguistic norms. This coordination can be useful both to exercise the mind and to understand what has been learned.

The advantages for students are that teachers can use this kind of activities as long term assessment tools.

The exercise of writing in science is a way to forced students think about what and how they want to say. However, in my experience, students found it very hard, and it’s difficult to make them aware that they have to reread what they have written, as many times as necessary, in order the text to make sense. Most of the times, they write as they think. It is indispensable to work together with language teachers in order to improve that skill, and science teachers must pay attention and give more importance to the writings.

Writing is a very valuable and useful tool in science. It gives students the opportunity to take their time in communicating their understanding of an idea or concept. They may be less scared to make a mistake when writing it down, but could also potentially spot a mistake or their misunderstanding of a concept. It gives students an opportunity to go back over what they have written again and again, all the while reviewing and refining their work.
