<title> The Fasil Ghebi Citadel in the Ethiopian city of Gondar is a 17th century walled royal enclosure from which the emperors of Ethiopia reigned over the entire empire. In 1979, it was declared a Unesco World Heritage Site along with other monuments in and around the city. Fasil Ghebi is a unique example of a particular style of architecture, called the Gondar style, in which the influences of the European Baroque style, introduced by the Portuguese missionaries, and the Indian architectural techniques of lime firing, brought by the master builders who arrived from Goa, have been integrated on a local Arab base.</title>
