Where the street rises it becomes pedestrianized for a block and to go up, there are two wide and long gray stone parallel stairs, with several flights and landings along the way. It is a very beautiful landscape, with a kind of garden that divides the stairs, lawns, plants, flowers, small bushes and even an old Ombú tree, all in a quiet environment. I like it because it is totally different from the others streets and it gives me the feeling of being in a small and peaceful city

I picked out this place as my place in the world because in a way, it made me feel away from the problems and the pandemic. 
I was the witness of the changing weather, the position of the sun, the intensity of the light and the leaves makeover.
For my surprise, Buenos Aires has some visitors from high places like the mountains in Patagonia, Córdoba or the north. So I made a new friend: an eaglet that everyday flew over the city and came near my house.

Also known as MOA (Monuments and Works of Art), is one of the most important workshops of the city. It deals with the restoration and cleaning of the sculptures  that were vandalized or damaged by the passage of time. 
Althought it can be visited I never got into. But every time I pass by, while walking my dog, I can´t avoid stop there to contemplate, from the outside of the fence, those stunning statues that lying there on the floor or placed in a row, they all look mysterious, specially at windy evenings when moving lights and shadows seem to dance along with those elegants figures.
The place conveys peace and serenity, almost like a cemetery or, better, an oasis in the middle of the city.

It’s a big grove like a tunnel and it’s a beautiful place where I enjoy a peaceful walk through these antiques trees almost every day. I admire the unique colors specially in autumm when the leaves turn yellow, red, brown and orange.
