Because Lakeland was closed today, on 12/2 until 12pm, we were not able to start this project in person, but we were able to create this "padlet" which can act as your safe space/place virtually. You can write or share your story, write a supportive comment for someone’s story (e.g., "Sending you strength" or "You are not alone") or share whatever you feel you need to in this space. This project, titled The Faces of Cancer, focuses on the themes of sorrow, resilience, strength, and survival. In addition, we’ll explore how the fight against cancer affects college students and discuss the campus resources available for those facing such challenges, including an interview with one of our campus counselors. We hope you’ll participate in this project as we come together to show support for our community.
