The digital world, the internet, and google anything has been both a true source of support, and access to learning, allowing me to go way beyond where I could possibly go in the old days of actually having to go to a library and write information down on an index card then hope both the cards and I would make it back to the dorm together!

We are not broken, the old way, the one way of teaching just doesn't lead to learning for us. The lecture style, note taking, textbook reading teaching practice is what is broken. Many educators and coworkers still have some resistance and disbelief about how kids and Adults with learning differences learn and function, and about AD\HD in particular,  but denial doesn't make it go away. I will live with it my whole life

Let  students collaborate with others on App extensions like this
Let students show you how they know what they need to know in varying ways
It doesn't matter how many colored folders you give us, you are organizing with your mind not ours!
Give us extra time and we will get it done.
Co-workers and bosses don't try to help by taking over a project, be patient, give me space, don't eat up my focus with meetings I really don't mean to be at.
