Every day Mr. Hoppy would look out his balcony, and say "Hi" to Mrs. Silver. He was Silver's neighbor ever since he retired. Mr. Hoppy loved Mrs. Silver, but she had another man in her life. He was her turtle , Esio Trot. She was sad one day because Esio was not growing anymore, so Mr. Hoppy helped feed Esio. After a while of Mr. Hoppy helping take care of Mrs. Silver's turtle, she began to love Mr. Hoppy. I am on chapter 18 and their are a lot more chapters to go. This book is about 2 kids, a boy and a girl, who are of on a mission to find a book. They travel all over the world to find this book. 

In the beginning of the book there are some rules about how you can hide a book and how someone else can find it. The first place they went to was London, and then they got more and more clues so they traveled a lot more. They would find some clues in the books that they read at the end of a story. The 2 kids only read their favorite authored books, which is the man who hides the books.

I just finished the first 2 chapters, and there are 9 chapters. There are 212 pages, I am on page 47. So far this book is about a policeman and his dog named Greg. The policeman and his dog got in a horrible accident, in the beginning of the book. After the accident, the doctors found out that the dogs (Greg) body was dying, and the police's head was dying. So the doctors sewed the dog's head onto the polices body. Then they called that thing Dog Man. Sounds funny right? And That's only Chapter 1, let's talk about Chapter 2 now. So in Chapter 2,  It is the chief's birthday. All the policemen/women make cards, gifts, and a cake. They ask Dog Man, can you get a little fish for the chief. So he goes and gets the fish. But did the Pet Shop people give Dog Man a good fish or EVIL fish!?!?  You guys can read the book to find out what fish Dog Man got.

I recommend this book to people who love Humor, and maybe a little Mystery.

Before break, I started this book called The Penderwicks. In this book, there is a family with 4 kids and they are all girls, and a dad. The girls names were Rosalind age 12, Skye age 11, Jane age 10, and Batty age 4.Their last name is Penderwick. The Penderwicks are on summer break and every year they go to a rustic resort and stay in the same cabin area, but this year all of the cabins were reserved. They searched for other places and found one that was beautiful. There were fields of grass to run around in. The cabin area was called Arundel. . So through out the other 7 chapters they are having fun in their cabins, playing outside, playing with the other kids at the cabin place, and swimming in the big lake.

The book got boring so fast. But if you want to read it you can.
    I am done with my book! Even though my book got boring close to the beginning of it. I just kept on reading it because I wanted to finish the book, that I had started. I have no clue why though. 

Here are some important things you need to know if you were to read this book. There are 4 Penderwick sisters, Rosalinda (the oldest Penderwick sister), Skye (the second oldest Penderwick sister), Jane ( the third oldest Penderwick sister), and Elizabeth/Batty ( the youngest Penderwick sister). Every year the Penderwick family would go to this cabin site, called Arundel, up in the mountains, but this particular time all  of the cabins were taken.  They searched and searched for more cabins to stay at and eventually they found a beautiful one. They all fell in love with it, except for Elizabeth. She did not care one bit, she just wanted to have fun that summer. 

They always looked forward to spending the summer in the mountains and this summer was extra special because they met Jeffrey, the owner's son. The girls thought that he was cute and lots of fun. My favorite adventure was the night adventure when they would see night creatures and walk on the trails. They would stay out to explore.

This book is so emotional, and happy!
              
 Ten-year-old August (nick-name, Auggie) Pullman, was born with extreme facial abnormalities. He was not expected to survive , once he was born. Auggie has gone through 27 surgeries since he was born. The last time Auggie had any surgeries, was 8 months ago. He is now entering fifth grade, at a private middle school in Manhattan. All his life he was home-schooled for his satiety, not because of how he looks.

1 month before 5th grade started for Auggie, he got a tour of the private school. The school had about 4 floors I think? The people that gave him a tour of the school, were actually his age! The kids names that gave him the tour were Julian, Charlotte, and Jack (some people call him Jack Will).Charlotte is really talkative, and she always talks about herself. Julian is a really mean kid, he sad "Does your face look like that because you were in a fire" to Auggie. Julian is one of those kids where he acts like he is so nice in front of teachers, but is mean when there are no teachers around. Jack  was only nice and being friends with Auggie, because his mom had told him. But after a while, Jack really becomes friends with  Auggie.

        Clementine is a delightful, lovable and totally unpredictable kid who has her own way of looking at the world. Clementine has a mean ¨friend¨ that will boss her around, but Clementine can´t be left alone by her because she is her partner in everything at school! 
                             
   How they became friends
 
     One day at school, Margret got glue in her hair and did not want anyone to know so she asked to go to the bathroom, but she brought some scissors. After a while Clementine got conserned, so she asked to go to the bathroom. After that Margret asked Clementine to cut her hair, so she did, but when she was doing the last snip, the teacher walked in. They were both sent to the principles office. After they became friends somehow.    Pippi Longstocking, is a little girl who lives without any grownups in a little house at the edge of a village, she had moved to a Swedish town. She had moved with her pets, her horse, and monkey. Once she started to settle in to her new home, she made two new friends. One is a boy and one is a girl. They would hang out every day after her friends came back from school. She does crazy things everyday, to keep herself entertained.

So, I don't recommend this book to people who don't like boring books!
