I did not have an enjoyable day, and was hoping for it to get brighter at home. When I walked in the door, I was stunned by the look on my mom's face. She usually isn't here, she normally is at work late on Mondays.
 "We are getting a puppy!" Mom exclaimed.
 "Really?" I responded surprisingly. I could not believe it, I wanted a puppy ever since I was really young! 
Mom explained the dog, " It will have adorable, big eyes, gorgeous golden brown fur, and the place said the puppy will be super fun and playful. The puppy will be ready for arrival at four pm."  
"Yay!" I was saying. "Thank you mom!"  
The next day, I was confused. I didn't see the puppy. Maybe she was just downstairs, I thought. I ran downstairs not seeing any puppy. I should have known. My mom didn't get a puppy. Then I walked upstairs and realized the puppy was right in my bed! She snuck by me! "A 2 week old Black Lab." Mom stated happily.
"That's my favorite type how did you know?" I asked
" A mom" my mom said knowingly "knows all"
