Hello Scholars, Today we begin a new unit titled, Sun, Moon and Stars! This unit will help you develop the idea that the sun, moon, and stars change position in the sky in ways that are fun to watch and predict. In today's lesson you will listen to a story about a girl named Jada. Jada will explore why her shadow changes over the course of a day at the beach. The lesson includes a short exercise where you can act out the movement of shadows with your body. You can extend the lesson with the optional activity, Trace Your Shadow, where you will trace your shadow using chalk and track the shadow’s changes throughout the day.
