They teleportated photons 89 miles from La Palma to Tenerife, and next they will try to teleport an atom from Tenerife to moon. 

The idea of teleportation is that the original matter is destroyed and cloned in the other end. This has led to a debate whether it is right to teleport a human being, because if a person gets destroyed and cloned, who is that person in the other end. I will quote Dr. Kaku; 'if a person is destroyed and the data from him is being cloned, who is the person in the other end? Is he just an imposter who happens to look like the original one? And are they really the same person? And do they both share the same conciusness if the data is exactly the same? And what actually is conciusness if it can be replicated?
