Apara (G4 HRT) + Raahi (ICT Specialist) carried out a Co-teaching session on creating a non chronological report using Google Docs.

While the ICT teacher equipped students with tech skills, the HRT teacher helped students to learn how to apply the tech skills to their researched content to convert it into a Non Chronological Report.

We ( kate and Maithili ) conducted a parallel teaching session focused on the concept of division through word problems. The class was split into two random groups of 10 students each — one group with Kate and the other with Maithili — in two separate learning spaces. This structure worked effectively, allowing for more focused, individual attention to each student and deeper engagement with the concept.

UP - Phonics Focus: Exploring the 'sh' Digraph

During station teaching, Upper Preppies engaged in hands-on phonics practice by manipulating letter tiles to tap out and build words containing the ‘sh’ digraph. They identified the sound, replaced letter tiles accordingly, and then read sentences featuring 'sh' words aloud. This focused station setup allowed educators to provide targeted support to students who needed additional guidance, ensuring differentiated learning in a small-group setting.

Making models to demonstrate the different layer of the earth using coloured play doh. A demo of a model was first done and then the teachers worked in parallel in the class guiding and assisting the students as they made their models.

The provocation was a station rotation model with 4 different stations - 1. with helium and air balloon, 2. sugar cube and rock sugar with coloured water to test absorption, 3. cups of different materials with hot water in it and 4. mixing of a powder with boiling water (jelly making). The children worked in small groups on each station and noted their observations, what they thought was happening and questions that they had.

Multiplication - teachers tag teamed to help the students recall their prior knowledge on multiplication and refresh the method, alternating doing sums with students on the board, and then jointly setting them a set of sums to do as a class task
