I don't really know much, but we lived in Ohio. I was born there and we moved to Arizona when I was 2 years old. My dad lived there for his whole life until moving here with us. They often played in the snow as kids, but I didn't have that chance as I was too young. I am hoping to go back and visit one day.

I don't know a lot but my dad is from indiana and my mom is from Seattle. They moved to Arizona after graduating college. My dad grew up in a small town in indiana so there wasn't a lot of people and so did my mom in Seattle. Both states didn't have the best weather. They both went to good schools and their parents both worked long hour jobs. I am hoping to go back soon because we have family in both states.

My family, the Bakkes, came to Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Dakota from Norway because the farm land was poor. The land was not big enough to support the whole family. The younger men and their wives left, and migrated through Liverpool and entered through Ellis Island. I have not been to Norway, but I definitely hope to go one day.

My family came from mostly Iowa, and nevada. My dad's side of the family moved here from Las Vegas, nevada after living there for 15 years. Even thought my dad was born ins Arizona after his parents moved her from nevada. My mom's side of the family came from the midwest area. mostly from Iowa, Chicago, and Illinois. But once my parents had my siblings they moved to a few other places then finally decided to stay in Arizona.

My Mom was born in Saskatchewan Canada. And my dad was born in Manitoba,Canada. My Grandma on my mom's side was born in Canada but her Mom is from Russia and her Dad is from Ukraine. Both my grandparents on my Dad's side are from England and I don't know anything about their parents. I do not know if this is correct but that is what I think I have heard.

First, I am from China, and my family are all Chinese. Second, the reason I came to the United States for school is because my older sister went to college here. She said she had never seen a cactus before, so she decided to go to college in Arizona. Then my mother said, "Since your sister is already going to Arizona State University, you should go to school in Arizona too."

My mom was born in a town called De Leon, which is this little place in the middle of nowhere of Texas. And my mom's whole side of the family, is a bunch of 50+ year old rednecks that all live in the same town. I think they've all lived in America for a pretty long time, but apparently my great grandmother's father was an Indian so that's pretty crazy. They all originally came from Ireland/England which is definitely where the red hair comes from, but my dad's side of the family is a totally different story. My grandpa's Jewish and my grandma's Armenian. I think my grandpa's side traces back to Russia (that's why my last name's Belkin) but I know there was some dude on my grandma's side who got orphaned in the Armenian genocide, so maybe he lived in Turkey or something. I've been to De Leon, but never like Armenia or Russia or Ireland anything. I would want to, those places sound cool. I don't really feel too connected to the places other then De Leon cause I haven't been there. There's like 2000 people living in De Leon and it's all old people. It's cool but it's nothing like amazing.

My grandma moved from Idaho and married a Chinese man. I am 25% Chinese and my dad is from Philadelphia. He moved and met my mom in California and they moved here. My last name is German because my dad's family was Jewish. I am not sure how they got to the US, nor do I know much about my family because I forgot when my dad told me about it. I visit my family in Philadelphia a lot and they are my favorite cousins. I have never been to China. That is all I know.

My great grandpa on my dad's side is from Ireland. He moved to find work I think... I've never been to Ireland but I think it's really pretty there. He first moved to Boston, then after a few years he moved to florida where he had most of his kids. A lot of my family on my dad's side lives in Florida and Boston. I've gone to Florida and Boston once. My grandma and my dad lived in Chicago for most of my dad's childhood then my dad moved to California.

My mom is from America, but my dad is from Japan. He immigrated to New York, because my grandpa grew up there. He said he had to sleep in a bathtub one time, but then he became rich and slept in a bed. I visited there, and ever since I eat ramen, sushi, and rice all the time. I feel connected to Japan since they are advanced and it feels like they are living in 2030. I am going to go back there next summer.

My dad is part german but he grew up in the US. My dad was born in Pittsburgh, then moved to Washington. My mom was born in Washington and grew up there. I love going to Washington. My parents got married, then moved to texas where I was born. After I was boorn we moved to Arizona, where my sister was born. I have lived in Arizona since I was one.

On my fathers side my great grandparents came to America from Poland and Russia there names are on the wall at Ellis Island and they had huge families as they got older my great grandpa made shoes

from Qingdao which is seaside city famous for sea food when I first moved here, I did not want to live in America because I do not like the desert .

My mom was born in Malaysia but had to move around a lot because of her dads work. She moved to Illinois for college and went to UIUC. After college, she moved to Arizona to work as a chemical engineer. My dad was born and raised in India but for college, he moved to Australia. After working there for a few years, he moved to Arizona to for work. Before moving to Arizona, they both lived in Canada for a while, where I was born. My grandparents and great grandparents have always been where my parents were born and my parents are the first people in their families to immigrate to America. I have visited these places a lot and it ties me back to my culture, which is important.

I don't know much about my family, but I know that my grandpa moved to Canada from Scotland and met my grandma there. In 1994, my mom, grandma, and grandpa then moved to Atlanta and moved to Arizona two years later. My dad was born in Seattle and moved to Arizona in 1999. I don't know why my parents chose Arizona, but we haven't really moved. I've been to canada a few times and know that most of my moms side of the family lives there, but I don't feel very connected to it.

My family is native American. My mother is from Window Rock which is in the Navajo nation, My father is from Salt River which is here. My family's history has always been here. My last name Wood came from when the Government could not write down my Great Grandfather's name, so they just asked him to point where he was from, and he pointed towards the mountains where it was forest, so he was given the name Wood. I feel connect to my family's original culture because I live close to it.

On my Moms side, my grandma comes from Japan and so does my mom, and was born and raised there until she moved to America when she was in 1st grade. She would move back and forth from those two countries a lot, because of my grandpas work. My grandpa came from America and met my grandma when he was studying abroad in Japan. He taught at an all girls collage in Japan and then moved to Tucson to teach there. I am 25% Japanese. I do not know much about my dad's origin, all I know is that my dad and his family have grown up in Arizona their whole lives. (Mostly in Tucson, where he met my mom.)

My grandpa and grandma came from Mexico, likely to have a better life in the U.S.. Both of my grandparents originated from Mexico, and settled here in Arizona. My mom and dad were born in the U.S., but my mom's side has mostly shone, since I don't know anything about my dad's side. I've visited Mexico a few times, and my family speaks Spanish frequently.
