    3)After Pearl Harbor, the US government placed Japanese Americans in internment camps. They were prisons where Japanese Americans were taken from their homes and put into overcrowded camps.

They were more significant than most groups because they were the first African Americans that passed their training and went to war. An interesting fact is that there were around 1000 black pilots in the group.
