He is one of the most famous Podravina poets. Galović was born in 1887, in Peteranec, a place not far from Koprivnica. He finished gymnasium and graduated Croatian language, literature and classical philology in Zagreb. At that time he intensively created works of all literaly genres. After completing his military service, he worked for a year in a high school in Zagreb. Galović died in the fall of 1914. on the battlefield.
