Jozsef Szajer, who helped write Hungary's ultra-conservative constitution, allegedly tried to flee the 25-person orgy by climbing through a window and shinning down a drainpipe. Ecstasy was also found on him, which he denies. He reportedly hurt himself in the process and was caught by police, when he then tried to claim diplomatic immunity before being let off with a warning.  A 'total moral failure' of Viktor Orban's socially conservative Fidesz, which portrays itself as a champion of Christian and family values. Szajer, a Fidesz founding member, was one of the lead architects of Hungary's new constitution in 2011, which was criticised by opponents for emblazoning conservative Christian ideology. In May, the party passed laws that mean transgender people will not longer be able to change their identities – defining a person's gender by the number of chromosomes they were born with.  
Fidesz openly opposes equal rights for gay people, and last month proposed amending the constitution in such a way as to guarantee that only heterosexual married couples will be able to adopt children. 
Christian values, or a particular interpretation of them, have become the centrepiece of Hungarian government messaging under its far-right leader, Viktor Orbán.
Orbán has increasingly used far-right and anti-migrant rhetoric as he cements control of the country in increasingly authoritarian fashion. He used to describe his system as an “illiberal democracy”, but recently he has changed focus, preferring instead to call it a “Christian democracy”. The government’s messaging is still based around stopping immigration and protecting a “besieged” Europe from outsiders, but it now comes in increasingly Christian packaging, both at home and abroad.But there’s one problem with all this: the policies of Orbán’s government don’t seem to be particularly Christian. One recent law saw the criminalisation of homelessness, penalising the street sleepers who are a frequent sight in the underpasses and courtyards of Budapest, rather than dealing with the problem’s causes. Asylum seekers are held in shipping containers in special transit zones near Hungary’s border fence, and the country’s policy of denying food to failed asylum seekers was branded “an unprecedented human rights violation in 21st-century Europe” by a human rights group. Government-controlled media often uses dehumanising rhetoric about migrants and refugees. Hungary’s right-wing prime minister Viktor Orban has described the arrival of asylum seekers in Europe as “a poison”, saying his country did not want or need “a single migrant”. (The Guardian)
