(Breaking down rocks).<br>Oxbow Lake – when a meander in a river gets cut off from the rest of the river by land, forming a lake<br>Cutoff – occurs when a meander bend is changed by a channel that bypasses the meander and goes straight instead, often creating an oxbow lake<br><br></div>]]></description>
