Easter dates back to the crucifixion of Jesus for Christian culture.

 It’s a good day because we stay with our families.

The duration of this holiday is seven weeks and ends on the fiftieth day; it’s too long!!!

However, it is a very nice party.

Usually it is celebrated with a party with family or friends.
Sometimes  the friends at the party stay for all the night;
in this case isn’t a party, it’s a sleepover!!!!!
The party is decorated with festoons, coloured baloons and  billboards.
The typical dish of this holiday is of course the birthday cake with candles on!!
In the tradition the people sing «Happy Birthday To You».
And after that, the birthday boy/girl blows the candles and expresses a wish.
Then he/she can open the presents!!

This festival means row of lights. Diwali is celebrated because on this day the Gods defeted the evils. We use the candels to light on the Indian churches and the house. This day is so special for us that we start cleaning the house a month before. We wear (kurte) tipical boys clothes,(suit) tipical girl clothes. We eat a lot of tipical Indian food like: jalebia, barfi, chole puria and pchore. At night time we use the fireworks; they are so cool! We go to gurduwara Indian church. This festival is for all Indian religions, but mostly Hindu and Sikh.

In this day we unwrap presents carried by a man loved by all children, called Santa Claus. 
We also celebrate Christmas by going to church singing Christmas carols. 
We decorate our houses with a fake fir tree decorated with coloured balls and Christmas lights with a star on top because,  for  Christians, this is a guide to a place, a nativity scene which represents the main characters of our Christmas namely Saint Joseph, the Madonna (Mary) and baby Jesus, embellished by many people and workers.
The typical food of this festivity varies according to the day: 

24 DECEMBER 
On the Eve we do not eat meat but fish because, according to the Christian religion, this is considered a sacre day; following the tradition, it is cutomary to eat " fish fry".

25 DECEMBER
In the Christmas day we eat a meat menu with more traditional sweets: "panettone e pandoro".

Today we introduce two festivals: Spring festival and Ramadan .The Spring festival is a Chinese festival and the Ramadan is a Moroccan festival. In Morocco we decorate the house with flowers, instead in China we decorate with poetic couplet and Spring Festival couplet. In China, during the Spring Festival we do many things. We give and receive red envelopes, named hong bao. Traditionally adult place money into red envelopes and give them to the children to wish them peace. In Morocco we cannot  eat or drink in the morning  and in the noon . Then we eat a lot of food: rice, sushi, pizza.......

We celebrate it on the 28th of November because on this day, in 1912 Albania became indipendent and free. We decorate our houses with the Albanian flag and we stay with our relatives. During the day we eat traditional meals like: Byrek, dolme, and lamb meat, we drink raki and dhalle and as dessert we have trilece. In Albanian squares there are several concerts with patriotic dances and songs.
