  • Laws make our lives more safe and civilized. They also help us make decisions. Everyone has their opinion, like how a law is cruel or fair. Depending who you are or where they are from might affect their opinion. Laws that they make are meant to help them in their everyday lives.
  • Their laws were important then because when people did something bad like flooding someone’s crops on purpose it was harder to replace because of their technology. And because of that their laws they would get worse punishments. Not like now and days were we have a lot of farms and stores so we will not run out of crops and food.
