         <description><![CDATA[<p>Definition:A solution is 2 materials mixed together and one of the materials dissolve in the other material.</p><p>Examples::If I mix hot water with chocolate powder and I stir it together the chocolate powder will dissolve in the hot water.Some more examples of solutions are tea,coffee,cake,salt water,syrup,soda,etc.</p><p>The relationship of  mixtures and solution:A solution is created from a mixture.For example if I mix two mixtures together and then one of the materials dissolve in the other material which creates a solution.It is different to a mixture because mixtures doesn't dissolve and we can still see the materials but solutions dissolve and we can't see the material but we see the solvent change to the color of the solute.A mixture can be a solution but a solution can't be a mixture.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Definition:  Solubility means how soluble something is and the ability to dissolve.  How much grams will it take to saturate the water?</p><p>For example: citric acid is really soluble meaning that takes a lot of citric acid until the water gets saturated but salt is not as soluble so it takes less salt to saturate the water or other solvent.  </p><p>solubility is similar to soluble since the solubility of a solute is also how soluble the solute is.  </p><p>We can see how soluble something is by saturating a solvent with a in 50ml of water and weigh it with normal 50ml of water and see how much heavier is the saturated water and thats the answer (could be grams</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Definition: Crystal is a translucent ( not clear but you can see the light coming through ) glass. We get the crystal by dissolving the solute into the solvent. Then we evaporate off the solvent from the solute and it makes a crystal.</p><p>Example: We can create crystals by evaporating salt water solution and get salt crystal.</p><p>A crystal that you make is different from the crystal in the mine because crystal underground has colour. But the crystal that we make is translucent. Some of the crystal in the mine can be heavier and bigger. The crystal that we make can break easily, but the crystal in the mine can be harder to break.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Definition: Crystal is a sparkling solid that come from evaporating a solution.</p><p>Example: The salt crystal has a X in the middle of the crystals.</p><p>Different substances have different crystal so that mean that by looking at the crystals closely we could find out what the mystery substance is if we know what the mystery substance's crystal looks like.</p><p>We could make crystal by first dissolving the solute in solvent. (Solute is the substances that dissolve and solvent is the material used to dissolve a solute)</p><p> Second we evaporate the water but not the substance by pouring a the solution in the evaporating dish.</p><p> Third put it outside so the sun could shine to it and the water would evaporate and would leave the substance you first dissolve in the solvent.</p><p>Salt crystal</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>A crystal is when small particles of a substance join together to make different shapes and sizes.</p><p>For example, when a salt solution evaporates, the salt gets separated from the water and then the salt forms crystals that look like squares with "X"s on them, but when citric acid evaporates, they form crowed flat crystals that look like flowers. All crystals have a different shape and form.</p><p>Sometimes if we oversaturate a solution and then leave it to evaporate, the outcome is sometimes different or not what the crystal is supposed to look like, for example if you over saturate citric acid, the crystal that is suppose to look like crowded flat flowers, turns into crystals that look like hexagons which is what you are suppose to get when you evaporate alum.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Definition: A crystal is a solid material that has properties like shapes, colors and pattern.</p><p>Example: The Epson Salt is like a long stick shape that is connect with each other an another is Citric Acid is a shape like a flower.&nbsp;A Sugar crystal is like square and has curve sides. A Salt crystal is a square shape with an X in the middle.</p><p><span style="font-size: 13px;">Crystal can be formed by a Sodium  and Chlorine Atoms share a pair of electrons in an ionic bond. While in solution, the Sodium and Chlorine Atoms are separated by water molecules [ H2O]. As the water evaporates from the solution, the Sodium and Chlorine Atoms begin to bond together, first as single molecules and then the molecules bond together, forming a crystals. Every molecules will form the same each time it forms.  </span></p><p>We can make a crystal by mixing a solute with a solvent the let it dissolve then we can evaporate it and then it will be a crystal.  </p>]]></description>

When you make a solution, you need to dissolve a material or a solute in a solvent which is the liquid that you put the solute in to make a solution, but when you make a mixture, you are supposed to mix at least two materials together, wet or dry.</p><p>For examplewhen you leave citric acid to dissolve in water, it creates a solution, but pretend you mix gravel, powder, and salt together, it creates a mixture because you mixed it and didn't leave it to dissolve in a solvent.<span style="font-size: 13px;">  </span></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Definition: A solution is when 2 or more materials (solute) are mixed together and dissolved in a solvent.   </p><p>Example: When salt, a solute, is mixed with water, a solvent, it will create a solution because salt dissolves in water. </p><p>Solution is not a mixture but it similar to a mixture because when we mixed 2 or more materials together and if the solute dissolve it will be the  solution. But if the solute not dissolve it will be mixture.</p>]]></description>
