They are all also in black and white.
Literary elements: Junie B. Jones is disappointed to find out that she is not the flower girl at her Aunt Flo's wedding after her and her friends decided such. Instead, she is made the alternate flower girl. She tries her best to act as a grown up, but ultimately decides that she has more fun as a child.
Personal thoughts: I thought this book was very cute, but provided little academic or curricular connection. Otherwise, students may be able to make connections to. self and to world, especially with Jones' parents' notion of "never growing up."
