Summary 1: The text is about a strange job - diving for golf balls.
Summary 2: Ted Becks has a unique profession - diving for golf balls. Every weekday, he goes to the golf course at about 10 am. Then he puts on his wetsuit and oxygen tank and dives to the bottom of a pond to search for golf balls. The company that he works for pays him 10 cents for each ball and he collexts about 2 500 balls each day, so he gets about 250 dollars every day. It's a dangerous job but he really enjoys it.
Summary 3: Ted Becks has a strange profession - diving for golf balls. Every weekday, he goes to the golf course at about 10 am and he waits for the people to leave. Then he puts on his swimsuit and dives to the bottom of the pond. It's very dark, so he has to crawl on his legs and knees to search for golf balls. But sometimes there are dangerous animals in these ponds, so it's very risky because you only rely on your sense of touch.
He works for 5 hours every days and collects around 2 500 golf balls. And the company that he woks for pays him 10 cents for each ball, so he gets about 250 dollars every day. But the balls aren't the only things that you can find in there. There are all sorts of things down there.
Words: crawl, set off, come across, trekking, tour guide, patient, responsible, golf balls, annoyed, pond
Sentences:
1. Babies can't walk because their legs aren't strong enough, so they crawl instead.
2. My grandma sets off for work at about 11 am.
3.I really like going scuba diving because I come across all kind of different sea creatures.
4. James goes trekking in the mountains every Saturday because he says that it's a good way of keeping his body in shape.
5. Our tour guide was a very nice and sociable person and he took us to a lot of interesting places.
6. Shop assistants need to be really patient because some clients can be really annoying.
7. You should really get some sort of small pet for your kids because it's a good way to make them more responsible.
8. Golf balls are pretty small, so it's very easy to lose them.
9. My sister gets really annoyed whenever I play video games on my console because she can't watch TV.
10. I don't think that there are any fish in this pond, so it's a better idea to go fishing at the river.

Today I learned about compound sentences and how to use the words: or, so, because, and, to connect two sentences. These words are important, because without them you can't make a proper sentence if you want to join two similar or opposing ideas. I don't have any questions for now.
Hi Adam,
I'm 14 years old and I'm a student in "Konstantin Velichkov" High school of Mathematics. I live in Varvara - a village in Bulgaria.
I have to get up at 6 o'clock every morning because my lessons start at 7:30 am. Then I have breakfast, brush my teeth and get ready for school. I go to school by car and I usually get there at 7:10 am. Our classes usually finish at 1:15 pm and I arrive home at about 1:40. Then I change my clothes, have lunch and after that I start doing my homework. I have dinner at 6 or 7 o'clock and when I finish my homework I go to bed. And that's usually at about 8 o'clock pm. But I watch YouTube, play video games or watch TV until 11 o'clock.
My favourite subjects are ICT, Maths and English. All of them can be boring at times, but that's fine. The real problem is when we have a difficult lesson, though... Anyway, my least favourite subject is Bulgarian. I don't hate it, but I really don't like it.
In my free time, I play video games with my friends, watch YouTube, work on my website and I sometimes watch TV.
How about you? What do you do in your free time and which school subjects do you like or dislike? Write soon.
Deyan

I don't have questions.
I live in a house in the countryside, while he lives in a small shack in the slums. I get up at 6 o'clock just like Tim and my classes also start at 7:30. And these are the only similarities between us. I get back from school at 13:40 because my classes finish at 13:15 but he comes back from school at 15:30. I also don't help with the chores a lot, unlike him. He helps his mother a lot and he also has to bring water for his family.

Today I learned about the Karen tribe's way of living and traditions. I don't have any questions.
The Karen tribe in Thailand lives the same way today as they did for a long time. A lot of Karen people live in Burma but most of them live in the mountains of Chiang Mai and central Thailand. They live in small bamboo huts, grow their own food, cook on open fires, weave their own clothes and even make their own jewelry. Karen women wear large bronze rings around their necks, legs and arms, so that they can make them look longer. Girls start wearing these rings at the age of five. They start with one ring and add more over the years. By the time they become adults, some Karen women wear up to 15 rings.
Karen people make their own blankets, bed sheets and towels, so their homes look really colourful. Some girls even paint their faces with beautiful patterns. Karen girls help their mothers raise their younger siblings, while Karen boys help their fathers with practical work, like weaving. Karen men make toys for the children, like spinning tops and dolls. They also make whatever else is necessary for the home, like pans and plates. And after a long day's work, the whole family sits and eats together.
