What have you learned about carbon dioxide, the greenhouse effect and climate change? What is happening? Who/what is affected? What is causing this? What can we do about it? Explain your experiment.

Sunlight enters the Earth’s atmosphere, the sunlight enters the earth and the earth absorbs it and converts it to thermal energy. Then the thermal energy starts convecting back to the atmosphere an then it turns to heat. When that heat gets to the GHG but some of that heat gets trapped. Do to pollution the atmosphere has more particles so some of that heats get trapped. And that is what is causing the GHE

Every living thing is affected because when we put more carbon dioxide on the earth we create more green house gasses and the earth heats up a lot so it is bad for the living things the ocean the rives etc. With a lot of sun the water evaporates so we run out of water and this is really bad for every living organism.

We did this experiment to prove that when you add carbon dioxide to the earth the temperature will go up. In our experiment we had two cup in each one a thermometer and a light. One of the cups had plastic around it and the other one was just the cup. After 30 minutes we recorded the temperature and the one with plastic was like 10 degrees higher.

We can walk or use bicycles, also we can plant trees because trees gives us oxygen and they breath in the carbon dioxide. We can take shorter baths and try not to waste so many electricity. Conserve electricity, reduce use of fossil fuels
