This is a corner of my room. As simple as it seems, this is my favorite corner in my room. It looks like a bunch of dirty dolls sitting in the corner. It is mostly in pink and I really love it. Not just because there’re all my favorite characters but also because all of it came from someone I love. Just like the little mermaid decoration at the left hand side comes from my mother, and the keychains beside it comes from my friends. The cat painting behind was colored when I was in high school. And the other pink keychain are mostly gifts from my friends during my birthday. Not only because it’s cute but also because it’s love from my friends and family. Sometimes the sun shines down through the window beside, just makes it even prettier. When I let down the window, it gives me peace. Just like a shelter that gives me space to escape from everything in my life. Whenever I look at it, I always feel surrounded by love. It doesn’t seem as neat or tidy but it is my favorite corner of my room.

This is a little section of my bedroom. Despite its seeming simplicity, this is my favorite spot in my room. There appears to be a group of unclean dolls seated in one corner. The majority of the colors are pink, and I adore them. For the simple reason that they were presents from someone I care about, and because it has all my favorite characters. For example, my mother gave me the little mermaid ornament on the left, and my friends gave me the keychains that are next to it. I colored the cat painting behind when I was a high school student. The majority of the pink keychains were birthday presents from friends and family. For the simple reason that it is a token of my loved ones' affection and because it is adorable. At times, the sunbeams streaming in through the adjacent window just serve to enhance its already stunning appearance. I get tranquility whenever I open the window. The same way a safe haven provides me with a place to hide from the stresses of existence. It fills my heart with love every time I look at it. Despite how untidy it appears, this is my favorite spot in the entire room.

The moment I stepped in the Lin Family Mansion and Garden, the vibe and atmosphere gave me a very special feeling. It feels like I’m back to the 1800s. Every building inside are all so spectacular and jaw dropping. From these buildings I can tell how much people cherish these historical cultures and building, and how much effort they put in to hand down this architecture. This journey also made my ordinary day a meaningful day.

After going to the Banqiao Di-Yi Temple, we went to the Lin Family Mansion and Garden. It was built by the Lin Ben Yuan family. It is one of the Four Great Gardens of Taiwan. And is also said to be Taiwan's most complete surviving example of traditional Chinese garden architecture. Back at 1847, this resident was a "rent house" for the Lin Ben Yuan family. This place is so much bigger that I thought. It looks like a massive palace.
