This activity helps students to understand how power is distributed between appliances in their household. It's a good introduction to how they use power at home. 

Real World Application 
- Maybe include power used by a typical gaming device (Xbox - 112Watts, Play Station 4 - 137 Watts) to make it more interesting to students
