         <description><![CDATA[<p>Ben Franklin was all for<strong> independence</strong>. He tried to convince other younger congressmen the same. He then traveled to France to gain their help on the war, and with how popular he was, he convinced many people to donate resources to the continental army and to join their side.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Thomas Paine wanted a revolution. He wrote a pamphlet called <em>Common Sense</em> which was filled with lines persuading Americans to the independence side; he sold 150,000 copies.  Thomas Paine made money from selling all those copies, and instead of keeping his money he donated it to the Continental Army.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>King George was <strong>against independence</strong>. (Duh.) He sent soldiers to New York to hopefully prevent a revolution. He even "borrowed" some soldiers from Germany to help, showing he was very determined to stop the American Revolution.</p>]]></description>

Showing that Abigail was for revolution and women rights.</p>]]></description>

Making many more British men against the declaration and Americans, and even making some Americans question their declaration. </p>]]></description>
