Some cartoon shows really don't have a purpose other than making someone laugh. A show like Family Guy or The Regular Show don't do anything but try to make you laugh. Family Guy is a show mostly made for humor, they make scenes with the characters doing inappropriate or silly things just to get a laugh out of the viewers.
