Also we are surrounded by english all the time because of music, movies and social media. <br><br><strong>3. The USA will become bi-lingual: Spanish will be as common as American English in all areas of American life.</strong><br>- 406 mio. speak spanish as their mother tongue while only 335 mio. speak english as their mother tongue. <br><br><strong>4. English will take over the whole world, and in a couple of hundred years, everybody will speak English as their first language. That’s a huge difference and the numbers are only getting bigger. </li><li>The majority of all trade and commerce takes place in China and products made in China gets shipped to the whole world. Those who do not natively speak chinese learn it for business or tourism reasons. The Chinese language uses characters instead of letters and has been proven to be harder to learn than English. </li></ol><div><br></div><div>China is the only country that speaks Chinese/Mandarin so with a population of 1.3 billion they all most likely are fluently speaking chinese. Many may be bilingual and speak English also. The UK government classifies 18 countries worldwide as majority native english speaking countries.
