- English is pretty easy for everyone to learn. Also we are surrounded by english all the time because of music, movies and social media.

3. The USA will become bi-lingual: Spanish will be as common as American English in all areas of American life.
- 406 mio. speak spanish as their mother tongue while only 335 mio. speak english as their mother tongue.

4. English will take over the whole world, and in a couple of hundred years, everybody will speak English as their first language. Small languages such as Danish will die.
-  In the English language there are a lot of foreign words which will be the reason why small languages as Danish will die.

    • Won’t happen because people love their nationalities, so they won't give up on their mother tongue.
    • Some people still don’t speak English, so English wouldn't take over the world because of that. 
    • If English was the mother tongue for everyone, then there would be a lot of problems because of accent and dialect issues

    • No because English as we know today is understandable for everyone, not only the youngsters.

    • 995 million people speak Chinese as their mother tongue, and only 360 million people speak English as their mother tongue. That’s a huge difference and the numbers are only getting bigger. 
    • The majority of all trade and commerce takes place in China and products made in China gets shipped to the whole world. So speaking Chinese would be a huge advantage. 

    • Chinese people are everywhere and it has a huge impact on others.

    1. Chinese is spoken by 20 percent of the world's population. Those who do not natively speak chinese learn it for business or tourism reasons. The Chinese language uses characters instead of letters and has been proven to be harder to learn than English. 

    China is the only country that speaks Chinese/Mandarin so with a population of 1.3 billion they all most likely are fluently speaking chinese. Many may be bilingual and speak English also.
