Moreover, this act's objective was to enpower people with disabilities by maximizing their opportunities to integrate into society at any level (economic self sufficiency and independence.

This was the first step of many to change the course of life of people with disabilities like Sady. This act forced society to start thinking about how much inclusivity could help individuals with disabilities.

As we saw in the video, Sady uses an assistive equipment that allows her to move around, to talk, to edit her videos, and many others functions. This act allowed for the term assistive technology to be aknowledged and included as part of the resources needed to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities.

This act protects Sady and others from any type of discrimination based on their disability.

By creating a separate entity to be in charge of providing quality services to individuals with disabilities, Sady and others were able to access better and more customized resources and equipment.

It described it as "any service that directly assists a child with a disability in the selection, acquisition, or use of an assistive technology device"
This law required the appropiate training or technical assitance to parents and professionals involved with the child.

I believe this act was very beneficial to Sady. It allowed her to have access to assistive technology helping her achieve her goals. She learned how to navigate her life by using this technology. It provided her with a customized equipment for the specific assistance she needed.
