In maths I was good at it since the start of the year. I got 35/35 in my EOT maths test and other high scores in other tests. We covered a wide variety of topics. Like:

Science

Science I made some progress since the start of the year. At first, I could not answer several questions that were very easy, but now I can do any questions especially our topic on waves.

History

In history, I have improved lots throughout the year. I got good grades on stuff like mythology, mysteries, rotten rulers and normal history. History is my favourite subject that is non core as well as I have excelling progress in the year. My best topic is regular history as we are making a time capsule. And my group, Cooper and Shiv have improved. me and them are ready to tackle a 9.

Arabic+reflection

In arabic I have had some amazing work that I would like to share with you. One thing I did was get multiple 7s 8s or 9s in my tests or tasks. In arabic I just need to work on writing and a bit of listening if I want to be good at it/amazing. We learnt about these topics:

World Studies

In world studies we learnt about cultrual sites in term 1- especially in the amazon. We learnt about the dangers of them in the amazon. In term 2 we learnt about these group of people called the Massai Mara and played loads of blookets about them. In term 3 we learnt about the earth and bees conecctions in loads of ways. Overall, I was OK in world studies.

German

I was legendary at German. I got near full marks in all of the tasks. In term 1 we learnt all about me and described our hobbies, Then it was the spelling bee. Being the top speller in all of my class-with 11 words I progressed to round 2 and then round 3. In term 2 we learnt about appearance and what super pets can do- I was good at that to. In the 3rd term we learnt about hobbies, sports,being online and school and time-legendary at. I have made lots of resilience in German.

DT+reflection

In DT I had Graphics, Food Tech and Design and Technology. Graphics was my best subject making an Exceeding pop up card and Pizza Box. In Food Tech I needed lots of help creating dishes (except for the fruit crumble) and in DT, making a clock, I was OK at it-DT is also fun-. DT is fun overall, but also hard.

MSC

In MSC, we covered loads of topics, from healthy habits to the changing of times then to the renaissance as well as our final topic, culture around the world. All ok at. One piece of work I am particulary proud at is the storyboard for Japanese culture (group is Me, Cooper, Shiv and Krishay) We have done lots of work to get an Exceeding.

Overall feeling

Feelings are an important part of wellbeing ,and are normally discussed throughout the year. My feeling however did not need discussing about as it mostly stayed up and energetic mostly this semester and I hope it will stay like that in Year 8 and beyond.

My Improvment

In some subjects, I have made signifact progress like Science or English. In some other subjects, I have made no improvment but kept up all and every single piece of work I have done. These subjects include Maths, German and History. And the last set of subjects are Geography and

Arabic, where I have made no improvment.

History-making a time capsule

One thing in History that we did is creating a time capsule. We did our planning and now we are ready to create this capsule. We have to do a chosen century, with ours being the 8th century b.c., we need to create the time capsule with suff about it.

Graphics

I loved Graphics! I made a pizza box and a pop-up card. Both were exceeding. Graphics was my best subjects!

Food Technology

In food technology, We cooked a wide variety of dishes like fruit crumble or pizza toast, or the best. Rock Cakes! My cooking level was on an expected, so I havelots of work to be good at Food Tech. Overall I was OK at Food Technology.

DT

In DT we are making a clock, using all of the exotic equiped in the given room. We used stuff like saws, piller drills, sandboxes, sandpapers, viles, and magical paper. I am on a lower expected level in DT but hope to increase my grade soon

MSC-reflection

In MSC, I have made unbelievable contributions to tasks that were set and answered lots of questions to. In lots of blokkets, I came in the top 3 most of the time. In my CFU'S I have shown understanding and capability and is on a path to improve even further.

In German, I have made no progress throughout the year but still worked really hard. I got 6/6 in all of my listening and reading tasks as well as 3rd/4th step in my speakinng task. And in writing I was excellent too! Getting all Outstandings in German, I think I am almost fluent at it.

World Studies-reflection

My progress in World Studies was OK in general. When we usually played blookets, I usually get 3rds, 2nds or 1sts in Blookets depending on my motivation. I was especially good at flags. In the section of cultrual, I was good and in the section of the Massai Mara, We did these fun activities related to them. I really enjoyed them. And finally, on the section of bees, I understood it really well. My reflection on World Studies is positive.

My progress in English was outstanding, starting from OK to an excelling level. When I first started English, I was not that great. I could not write fast and I was working behind everyone. Then I practised in Term 3 making my writing move to the next level as well as now catching up to my English Class ment a lot of excelling progress for me.

Textiles

I started with Textiles then art in the first and second term. At first in textiles We did drawing to make our textile piece, and I drew a fairly complicated design to go with it. Then I realised how complicated it will be so I had to simplify it to a smaller version (see below). And then, we practised stiching. At first I could not do a simple running stitch and applique (to apply) but then I practised with the needle and then, I got the hang of it.

Geography+reflection

In Geography, we had 3 units. Prisoners of Geography, Ecosystems and Population. In Prisoners of Geography, we learnt about different counntries like Russia, Netherlands, Mongolia as well as Physical features and Human Features. I really liked Geography when we deciphered human and physical features from China. In Ecosystems, we learnt about different places like Mangroves, Deserts, Rainforests (I was really good at that because of the Greenplanet trip, as we discovered everything there), and savanas. And in population, We learnt about Migration and distribution.

Maths-reflection

My progress in Maths is yet like most of my subjects-Outstanding. But in a different way. Like in most subjects, I worked hard to get good in all tests and in Maths I was already good at it which made my resilience to the next level. At the start of the year, I made good work with my resilience as I only missed a few marks in My tests. In term 2, I kept really good work but found the assesments kind of challenging, getting lower grades but redeemed myself in the EOT assesment with my 35/35. Then in Term 3, I continued back to tackle more 9s as possible. I was Outstanding in Maths.

Art

In Art, we are discussing about the topic 'The World Around Us' by making a piece full of culture. We used materials like oil pastels, pencils, scissors, polytile and much more. We also did techniques like a paper cut, blending, printing as well as scraping to get the piece done. I have shown resilience in Art with skills I could not do last year but can do now and hope to do some more but overall, I was good at Art.

Art-reflection: In my opininion I had some downfalls but kept resilient to make the piece making Art for me easy.

Textiles-reflection: In my opininon, Textiles was OK for me with a bit of hard work coming into the subject. But in reality, it was fun.

My progress in Science is yet again, on an excelling level. In all my Tests, I have scored above average in all of them, with my best being 95% (on the topic of waves) I have continued being a top learner in Science. I have also participated much in lots of practicals making my grade increase more. From starting knowing nothing, I have made tons of progress in Science

Islamic+reflection

In Islamic, We learnt about lots of things involving Islam. My progress is Exceeding in Islamic from getting good to really good. In the first term I was on expected but became bettef in the second. And in my EOT Test in term 3, I scored An exceeding, to marks closer to excelling. I am really proud of the work we did in Islamic especially my improvment since Year 6 and I hope to improve more in the upcoming years.
