I was so tired since I had been up since about 7 o'clock that morning. I stepped one foot on the burning hot black turf and my feet were on fire. I looked up into the stands to see my parents as well and my teammates parents anxiously waiting to see if we win.  Sitting on the sideline, waiting for when I had to play. I got put in eventually with about 5 mins left, it was tied and we had to get a goal to win and then make sure they didn't get another one after us. We were not able to get the goal so we went in to overtime. I took a huge breath to try and calm myself down because I was in for overtime and we had to get a goal to win state champs. A minute left. And no goals later. She throws it into the goal and hopes for a miracle. It's over. We won. We all run over and huddle up in a huge circle and jump up and down. I noticed my friend had posted on her story saying for people to come over to have a little movie night. I said I would I would come and packed my stuff and left my house. When I got there we got snacks and went outside where the projector is set up. We all sat together on the couch and watched a scary movie. Then we left to go sleepover at my other friends house and then we went back out and biked all around town when it was so early in the morning and no one was out. The air was crisp and cool with just a slight breeze. We sat on the beach and felt the cold sand in between my toes. In those moments I realized how short life is and how you have to enjoy ever moment. We were all curled up in the blankets in the living room. As i got up to get some water my toes hit the cold floor and almost froze right there. I ran quickly to get my water and back to the couch. We sat there and waiting until my dad came home. He was walking up to the porch and he had a big box in his hand. I was hoping it was a present for me. As he came inside ears of an animal could be seen from inside the box with holes in it. My dad opened the front of some sort of carrier and a small cat emerged. All we have ever had was fish so this was quite the suprise. She walked very low to the ground scared to fully stand up. We all sat there trying to pick a name and make sure we got to hold her.
