This campaign will take course over the year of 2024, with weekly/monthly updates. Every player taking part will contribute to the overarching narrative to tell a fun and interesting story of the events of Sanguis Dominatus.

Narrative Focus:

Bonus campaign points are available for creating narratives for your armies, units, and characters and tying them into the overarching story of the Crimson Frontier. I will try and keep you updated each month on how everyone is doing and how the overall campaign is going.

The atmosphere, tinged with hues of blood-red, holds tales of the unknown, drawing factions from the farthest reaches of the galaxy. On this alien canvas, the Imperium, Orks, Necrons, Eldar, Death Guard, Tyranids, Chaos Daemons, and the stranded Tau expedition converge, driven by ambition, prophecy, and the primal instinct to conquer.

As the crimson sun casts its eerie glow upon the landscape, each faction must navigate the treacherous terrain, confront ancient enigmas, and secure their foothold. Sanguis Dominatus stands as a celestial proving ground, challenging the mettle of warriors and shaping the destiny of those who dare to claim it. Amidst the scarlet plains, the stage is set for a cosmic saga, where the echoes of battles past blend with the footsteps of those destined to inscribe their legacy upon the heart of Sanguis Dominatus. Leader's Name: Castellan Thorne Swiftblade

Background: The Black Templars, known for their zealous devotion to the Emperor and relentless pursuit of the enemies of the Imperium, have established a formidable presence on Sanguis Dominatus. This group, christened as The Crimson Blades, stands as a vanguard against the tides of heresy and xenos threats that loom over the crimson plains.

•Starting roster of 750 points

•Normal army construction rules apply

When picking your Crusade army, you can select any units in your index with a couple of caveats:

•No Named Characters – epic heroes are still acceptable as long as they are generic – we want to see your characters develop over time

•No Allied Units – Your whole army must come from within your index, you cannot use allies in your lists including imperial agents

•Imperial Armour Units are Allowed – As long as your faction can use them/they fit the narrative. If in doubt, ask Sam!

•Starting Enhancements – You can pick enhancements for your starting crusade force. Just ensure that you have points within your force and the correct amount of requisition points.

We will be using Goonhammer’s Administratum application, which you can upload your Battlescribe/Warhammer App Rosters to and keep track of unit progression.

•You will be expected to roll all your out-of-action tests in front of your opponent.

•Please do roll for any battle scars on your units after you have rolled for the out-of-action tests.

•When choosing your upgrades please choose the most narratively appropriate upgrades for all your units.

Background: On the desolate plains of Sanguis Dominatus, the Ironhide Pack, led by the ferocious Warboss Razorfang Skullsplitter, emerges as a dominant force among the Ork tribes. Known for their armoured hides and relentless savagery, the Ironhide Pack is a formidable and feared presence on the Crimson Frontier.

Leader: Deathleaper, the Elusive Harbinger

Background: In the vast expanse of the cosmos, Hive Fleet Leshy, a Tyranid force under the command of the elusive Deathleaper, has descended upon Sanguis Dominatus with a specialised Vanguard Force. This insatiable swarm, driven by the unrelenting hunger of the Great Devourer, serves as the forefront of Tyranid probing and infiltration into the planet's defences.

Leader's Name: Overlord Rakh-amn-Hotep

Background: From the cold depths of cosmic slumber, The Red Skull's XIIIth Reacquisition Legion, under the command of the enigmatic Necron Overlord Rakh-amn-hotep, awakens on Sanguis Dominatus. A relentless force of undying warriors, they seek to reclaim the ancient dominion that once belonged to the Necron dynasties.

Leader: Ton’Soriak, Lord of Change

Background: In the twisting tapestry of the Warp, a new force emerges upon the Crimson Frontier—Ton'Soriak's Ephemeral Arcanum Host. Led by the enigmatic Lord of Change, Ton'Soriak, this Chaos Daemons faction embodies the ever-shifting nature of Tzeentch, the Changer of Ways.

Leader's Name: Septicus and Cystus Rotgrave

Background: In the festering heart of Nurgle's embrace, The Foulspawn Legion rises as a nightmarish force within the Death Guard's ranks. Commanded by the fearsome Lord Septicus Rotgrave and his twin brother Cystus, this Legion epitomises the relentless advance of decay and contagion, a moving morass of corruption that engulfs all in its path.

Leader: Farseer Eldaesain Starchild

Background: In the celestial tapestry woven by the Eldar, the Bás-Dochar stands as a shadowy enigma. Guided by the visions of the venerable Farseer Eldaesain Starchild, this Eldar force emerges from the depths of the Webway, their motives concealed in the intricate dance of fate.
