There will be no judgement, no pressure, just support if you’d like it!

Over the next couple of months RHL will be running several short group drop-in information sessions – expect these to last no more than 15 minutes. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can have a 1-to-1 chat with one of the RHL staff. Following these sessions, RHL can make a referral on your behalf if you feel that this is the right course of action for you.

There are very serious health concerns associated with smoking. Although it’s not easy, the benefits of quitting are massive and start to take effect surprisingly quickly. Evidence shows that you are three times as likely to successfully quit with the offered support. Whether you (or a friend/family member) are at the point of wanting to quit, or you simply want to find out more then please contact classes@rhl.org.uk to find out more.

Local charity fundraising event opportunity @ The Spice Merchant

As you will see from our Hart Voluntary Action news, we are having our first charity fundraising event at the Spice Merchant on 5 March, through a connection we have made with Karen Potts. Karen is open to receiving expressions of interest from other local charities which are operating in the Fleet area to be a charity beneficiary of future "Stand-Up & Spice" events. She can probably take on two more charities, but does need a guarantee that your charity can sell tickets for their event (ideally at least 20 tickets) with the rest going to regular attendees and existing contacts. If you are interested, then please email Karen Future dates are planned for May, September, October, November and December. Funds raised are likely to be c. £600 for a full house (50 people). If you do contact Karen, please mention that you heard about this opportunity through Hart Voluntary Action!
