house wakes up

The house's automated system wakes the people up. There are no people, but the house does it's job like there are people. The house tells the people news and things about bills.

house makes food

The house starts to make breakfast. The house makes eight eggs, sixteen strips of bacon, two coffees and two glasses of milk. After a while though, the food shrivels up and gets thrown out.

house lets in dog

The house doesn't let anything come near. It uses the shutters to swatt away birds and uses other things to get rid of foxes. The house however let in a dog because it recognized the voice.

dog looked for someone

The dog went inside and looked around. It goes upstairs looking for someone and doesn't find anyone. Then finally, it smelled food cooking in the kitchen, but the door was closed. It went upstairs looking for someone and didn't find anyone.

dog lied down and died

The dog started frothing at the mouth. It chased its tail around in circles, all in a frenzy. The dog eventually dies.

the dog was removed

After an hour, the house noticed the smell. To correct it, the cleaning mice cleaned up some of the mess. The dog went down to the incinerator.

nursery wall animals came to life

The animals took shape on the wall. They ran around while fascinated. However they were stuck in glass walls.

the house began to die

The house was sitting in silence after reading a poem. Then the wind blew a branch into the house. This branch landed on the stove causing the house to light on fire.

the house tried to put itself out

The house screamed fire in an attempt to get the people out before it was too late. It tried using water to put out the fire after closing everything off. However, somewhere the water pump finally shut off.

the house collapsed

All of the houses attempts were for nothing. In the end the house burnt to a crisp. This caused the house to collapse, and the next day it started its automated process again.
