         <description><![CDATA[<div>You may know Harnett County, but, do you know the actual facts about Harnett County? Well, Harnett County was made from land from Cumberland County in 1855. Harnett County was named after a solider, Cornelius Harnett. Harnett County is seated in lillington. The largest city is Dunn! Well, so far, you can tell that Harnett County is a large state! The first settlers of Harnett County came in the 1720's. Scotts followed behind them.&nbsp;Even though Harnett County was not a place to fight during the Civil War, one of the very last battles happened in Avesborough. Harnett County has MANY schools, 5 primary, 13 elementary, 6 middle schools, 4 high schools, and 1 university. So, yeah, Harnett County is all about the education. I mean, 29 schools is a LOT of education if you ask me. Harnett County has many people living in it. So, now do you understand Harnett County?</div>]]></description>
