Diseases, criminals, and illegal drugs are just a few things that can cross the border with said immigrant. Because of how important diversity and the idea of a "melting pot", immigrants should be allowed, but under inspection of course. After all, a multitude of the jobs and services provided in the US are the unwanted jobs that Americans don't want, and immigrants take instead. Over the years, immigration has kept ascending higher and higher. As it states in the article, in 2015, immigration was at 13.5 percent. Very soon, though, immigration might start going down. After Donald Trump was elected president, he declared that he will build a wall to help enforce border control. As many illegal immigrants have been able to enter the United States, this wall has the capability of keeping them out for good. This is a very big problem because that would mean that immigration would start going down. Also, there would be fewer jobseekers which means that business and Industry might start going down. I think that President Trump shouldn't build a wall but instead actually let these immigrants enter, not illegally, though.

I disagree with the Presidents actions because when the first sailors that came from Britain landed hear they first met with the native people they were friends at first teaching each other certain skills and trading amongst  each other. Then the Britain decided that they wanted more land so they took it from the native Americans without a say. So our country is basically built off of immigrants. People have been coming here from all over the world for hundreds of years and all of the sudden they just stop. 

President Trump thinks the immigrants are ruining the economy when actually they are helping it out a lot. We should stop the people who are bringing in the drugs and other things that could be dangerous, not just any day people.
