Repeated disruptions

The same students keep disrupting my class even with consistent interventions, parent contacts and consequences. The PBIS Handbook indicates there is a team that will meet to discuss these students after the 2nd lunch detention. What team?

The same students are serving lunch detention, ISS, and sometimes OSS, when will we do something different. This small group of students are making it difficult for the other students to learn. Since we had been told that we are at the bottom in terms of test score, why don't we better ourselves and eliminate the distractions.

Small things are being made into large things and large things are being ignored. What's wrong for one is wrong for all and if you're not going to address everyone, don't make the "one" feel like they are being picked on. This goes for students as well as teachers.

In each of my classes, I have students who are wanting to learn and can be relied on to follow classroom rules and school expectations. I fear that these students are NOT given the opportunities they deserve in class because so much time is taken managing those students making poor choices. The consequences we have in place now don't seem to be working. Parent contacts/meetings and lunch detentions are not having the intended impact on student misbehaviors.
