At Sanccob, we’ll get to see how important it is to protect coastal birds and their habitats. This knowledge will help us teach our future students about the environment and why we need to care for it.

By seeing the work Sanccob does with rehabilitating birds, we’ll learn how to think critically and solve problems, which are important skills to pass on to our future students.

Learning about the struggles coastal birds face will help us become more empathetic and responsible. These qualities are key when teaching kids to care for the world around them.

While we as student teachers learn about animal life, ecosystems, and conservation in the classroom, visiting a penguin rescue lets us see these concepts in action. This practical exposure reinforces our understanding of how knowledge can be applied in real-world situations, enhancing our ability to teach such concepts effectively in the future.

This outing will be an exciting and educational experience for both students and teachers as we learn about different animals and their habitats. As future educators, we will gain valuable knowledge that we can later share with our own learners, helping them better understand topics such as "Wild Animals." This trip will not only expand our understanding but also strengthen our bonds as students and teachers. It will also provides a refreshing change of scenery from the classroom. That's why I believe this outing will be both fun and beneficial for us as future teachers.
