    Pituitary gland-  It senses the body's needs and sends signals to different organs and glands throughout the body to regulate their function and maintain an appropriate environment.

    Thyroid- The function of the thyroid gland is to take iodine, found in many foods, and convert it into thyroid hormones:

    Pancreas- During digestion, your pancreas makes pancreatic juices called enzymes. These enzymes break down sugars, fats, and starches. Your pancreas also helps your digestive system by making hormones. These are chemical messengers that travel through your blood.

    Ovary- The ovaries produce the egg cells, called the ova or oocytes. The oocytes are then transported to the fallopian tube where fertilization by a sperm may occur.
