Research Question: How and why do Brazilians in favelas experience urban poverty in their country?

My partner, Rafael, and I have discovered some areas we must research. We simply planned for our research goal in day 1.

I spent some time on researching reliable and trustworthy sources for our bootcamp project.

As a result,

-We know the problems of urban poverty in Brazil

-We are able to know how to find good sources.

Our main assignment on this day was to write a PEAL paragraph demonstrating the urban problems of Brazil. I spent time researching the economic problems of Brazil, so I wrote about the financial inequality of Brazilian banks and the problems of Brazil's money system.

In the lesson on August 27th, I had to propose solutions for handling the urban poverty issues of Brazil. In the process of proposing solutions,

Process:

1. Outlining the problems

2. Finding previous efforts that the Brazilian government has made.

3. Finding weaknesses and strengths of my solution

As a result,

-I am able to find the strengths and weaknesses of solutions

-I am able to make solutions with more creativities according to the datas I have collected.

In lesson 5 of unit 1, I organized proposed solutions, wrote a script, and designed a poster for our elevator pitch. It took some time to make both a poster and a script.

My partner, Rafael, and I have practiced for our presentation for the first 30 minutes of the class.

After that, we had finished our presentation well, which was less than 2 minutes, and we finished the reflection form of Bootcamp Project
