Children are involved in this activity, they observe how they are going to use the sealskin, which side they can use to slide and which part where they have to tug on the sealskin, and work together then slide. They interact with their teacher and the person they will slide with and other children who will slide next after them. They communicate with everyone around them to make sure all children are safe and taking turns in sliding. Everyone in the video is having fun and laughing and engaging in the fun activity -Jean

I can tell how they all enjoyed with laughter and excitement. All the educators telling and showing them how to hold on to the seal skin and if they were two children on the sled they told the other child to hold on to the one in the front.

Deanna

-kids and teachers are engaged, teaching them how they used sealskins as sled not only as a sled they are cleaning it as they slide.

- secure? They let the younger kid slide with an older kid as they are abit too young to slide alone.

-to be on a safe side, don’t walk up on where kids are sliding, climb up on the side where no one is sliding.

-keep your hands on the slide to be safe.there is a wrong way to use the sealskin, the fur has to be upwards to slide better and faster.

-they are all safe and enjoying the beautiful outing day,

 —Joan.
