After grading a unit, I take notes on the common errors and misunderstandings. I give feedback on where the error was and how it should be done. I am a student who wants to know how I did and getting some feedback is better than none at all.

I look at the average grade as well as any outliers and analyze that data to change the lessons in future years. That is, make note of what topics students did generally well on versus not so well and determine how to teach those in the future.
