         <description><![CDATA[<div>- The government agency/international organization/NGO providing the aid is UNICEF<br><br>- UNICEF used the aid by working together with the EU "<em>to realize the rights of every child" <br>- By using the human rights for children they help argue why this foreign aid so important <br></em><br>- Unicef suggests they've made a continuous  impact on the children living in developing countries  <br>- Give no exact figures but many examples of how they are ensuring the upholding of the human rights of a child worldwide <br>- By working together with the EU they gain further influence and power <br>- Multiple different programme areas they work in (help children receive an education, protecting the child from violence)<br>-  They commit to upholding the rights of a child and giving every child worldwide equal opportunities at a bright future <br>- Focus on empowering women and girls across the world to ensure their full participation in decisions that concern them<br><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Oxfam (NGO)</div><ul><li>Oxfam has many projects across 67 countries, helping communities to be self-sufficient and providing essential services for refugees.</li><li>They often provide training and funding for equipment to start or support local businesses and initiatives. </li></ul><div><br>These are some examples of their work:<br><br></div><div>Oxfam provides safe clean water to Syrian refugee families in Lebanon - Oxfam gives the refugees vouchers that they can exchange for water when they need it. The Oxfam team also tests the water to make sure it is safe to drink.  </div><div><br></div><div>Oxfam has been working in Jordan since the early 1990s focusing on women’s access to justice and leadership. They work to support community-led approaches to strengthen local business, with a particular focus on women. Their work involves teaching and helping the youth and women across Jordan build skills that they can use for work. </div><div><br></div><div>Oxfam is helping female farmers in Ethiopia. They provide funding for equipment and training in honey production, distribution and selling. Women are receiving an education, gaining new skills like literacy and numeracy, and earning an income through the project. The project is also helping female farmers take on leadership roles in the honey business. </div>]]></description>

(dependent on the conditions of their island) which with climate change was an issue. </li><li>Global finance being 7.6% in 2011 and then depleting to 3.2% in 2012. </li></ul><div><br></div><div>The World Bank then came to aid: Strategic Action Plan 2009-2013, </div><ul><li>Focused on;</li></ul><ol><li>A nationwide transport system, </li><li>Affordable living costs, </li><li>Affordable housing, </li><li>Quality health care for all, </li><li>Prevention of narcotics abuse and trafficking. </li></ol><div><br></div><div>This has resulted in: </div><ol><li>Improving teacher development, </li><li>school leadership, </li><li>teaching and learning materials, and facilities, </li><li>The first independent Auditor General’s Office (AGO) in 2008, </li><li>Access to finance, </li><li>A comprehensive and modern pension system, </li><li>Improving human and institutional capacity for environmental management. </li></ol><div><br></div>]]></description>
