Harriet returned to her enslaved past an estimated 19 times in order to help others follow her path to freedom. These actions made her the most famous conductor of the underground railroad. Jackson wouldn't have the slightest patients to save people nineteen times. Although he was president he wasn't doing much good than bad for the country. Especially since he threaten hang his people if not obedient. While Harriet was the rebel in this situation but it was for the good of her people.

I believe that if anyone should be on the dollar bill, it should be Harriet Tubman because she was someone who was born into slavery and escaped. Harriet Tubman then had 13 missions (Rescued about 70 people including family, friends, and others) to help other slaves escape. Harriet Tubman had demonstrated Bravery and Risked her own life to help others. This is far greater than what Andrew Jackson had done for our country. Ruby bridges was a little girl who went to a black school , the teachers noticed that she was too smart for the school that she attended . ( back then the white schools learned better and more than the black schools ) So she had to go to a white school and on her ride there security guards had to escort her because many white people crowded the school and had signs and they were yelling at her , many people took there kids out of the school because they didn't want there child with black kid , but ruby did it and she was the first black kid to attend a white school . I think that Franklin Delano Roosevelt should be featured on the $20 bill. I think this because he helped America get past so many events that made history and did it all while he was disabled but he didn't ever let that get in his way. He helped Americans get past the Great Depression while the rate of unemployment was 25% and made the New Deal where he gave jobs to the unemployed, gave the people economic relief, and regulated the stock market to prevent it from crashing again like it did in 1929. Later on he made the Second New Deal which provided the Social Security Act which was the first time that Americans were provided with unemployment, disability, and pensions for old age. He was the first president to run for more than two terms and was in office for four total. He helped America get through World War Two and did many more great things for America during his time that were way better than Jackson ever did. These are my reasons why Franklin D. Roosevelt should be on the $20 bill instead of Andrew Jackson.
