My name is Austin McIntosh. I absolutely love the outdoors and Arizona has been my favorite state to explore. I have a nomad heart, love traveling and experiencing other cultures and peoples. Aside from doing anything active or outdoors, I have developed a new love for reading novels in my free time. Best book referral of 2019 is 'Code Talker' a memoir of Chester Nez. The beach is my felicity. Enjoy spending time with those who are close to my heart and eating delicious food. If you have any recommendations for books or travel destinations I am your new best friend. Hoping to make new friends and meet future teachers throughout this semester.

My name is Austin Ford McIntosh. I am an aspiring science teacher, 25 years young. I have recently graduated from NAU with a Bachelors of Exercise Science. I have coached swim fro seven years via the Town of Gilbert. I worked in a physical therapy clinic as a technician for 1 year before moving back down to the valley to begin my teaching profession. Unfortunately, never was accepted into post graduate medical school. I am excited to spread the knowledge and passion for science that I have obtained throughout my years of experience. I am aspiring to teach freshman biology and also human anatomy and physiology.

1. I love exploring everything outdoors. Camping and hunting helped shape my passion for biology, the study of all living things.
2. I love the ocean and grew up a competitive swimmer. Growing up in the AZ heat I needed something to keep me active while also having fun. Once I became old enough to coach swim I stopped racing and focused on assisting others in technique.
3. I recently adopted a dog named Charlee. He is half labrador and half rottweiler. He loves hiking and exploring trails all across Arizona.
